We apologise for the delay in announcing the results in this category which came about following the sudden hospitalisation of one of the judges (who has now recovered successfully).

with her story

A PARCEL FROM THE PAST

She is awarded a prize of £150 and will be invited to attend the Winners Evening and asked to read an extract. Her story will be published in the Anthology for 2007

She is awarded a prize of £50 and will be invited to the Winners Evening.

SHORT LISTED was

Lisa Robbins from Edinburgh

for her story TEA WITH GRANNY

She will be invited to the Winners evening

Readings of the winning entries to the competition and the Writers-of-the-Year Anthology 2007 will be available at the Winners Evening at the Barbican Library on Wednesday evening 3rd October 2007. Invitations are available from the administrator, writers inc., Tel: 020 8305 8844. There is no charge for this event.
